Children’s hospital in Cincinnati’s St. Elias Valley hospital undergoes expansion
UPDATE: 11:43 a.m.
— The Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has been expanded to four pediatric hospitals and is now able to accept patients who require special conditions and/or are in the early stages of a condition, according to a news release.
This comes after the hospital was previously allowed to accept children with special needs only.
The hospital is now also allowed to transfer children to one of its hospitals.
The expansion is the second in two years for the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital.
The first was in 2015, and it was announced in February.
