A spokesperson for Stanford University confirmed that it had released the photos of the staff at the hospital, which were taken from a balcony of the hospital building in San Jose.
The spokesperson did not elaborate on the type of photos that were released.
According to the hospital spokesperson, the photos show staff wearing protective gear, including gloves, mask and face shield.
“The hospital is committed to keeping all patients and staff safe, and the hospital has an extensive security and disaster preparedness program,” the spokesperson said.
“The photos that are being released are the result of a series of interactions between the staff and emergency personnel during a natural disaster.”
In addition to the staff, the hospital tweeted photos of an emergency medical technician, a nurse, a doctor, a technician, and a nurse.
The hospital also tweeted photos showing the entrance to the emergency room and the exit of the emergency department.
